How can a company change its gearing ratio?
I had a client ask me about this. I understand that a gearing ratio is the ratio between the business' capital and borrowed funds. Aside from increasing profits and, well, paying borrowers back, how else can a company change its gearing ratio? Do these ratios work the way a credit score works, or is it all based just on capital vs. debt?
