How can I find new customers for my business

Perhaps a more relevant question might be to ask yourself: “How can new customers find you, to give their business?” I’m not being glib with that response. It’s a paradigm shift. In phrasing the question differently, perhaps you can encourage greater vigorous thinking. Who are your potential customers? How can they discover your product, or service? How easily accessible are you, to them? Word of mouth advertising is the ultimate goose, which laid the marketing golden egg. Do you have an existing database, to capitalize upon and help increase referral business? The beneficial effects can be enormous from satisfied customers. Flexibility in today’s competitive marketplace is the ultimate key to success.

A great question JJ, and some helpful answers (especially Bruce's). I would recommend adding a bit more specifics, as I find more people reply where there is more detail. Clearly the answer varies tremendously depending on such variables as budget, whether it is B2B or B2C, store or web front etc. In the end, a sustained and focused lead gen effort takes a lot of work, but is absolutely critical to success. There is no one silver bullet, but takes many trials to find what works, then that has to be constantly tweaked.

BTW, if you are web-based, you might look at Hubspot. They have cost effective marketing solutions.

Good luck!

Bob

A good place to start is "on line".... Current stats show that 90% of shoppers will start their buying process through research on line... Do you have a website?

So many people are struggling with "how to get sales"... the challenge of "how to get in the door" it is amazing!

I discovered that this segment of the market really doesn't have a clear solution and put together a keynote presentation. You can view this 10+ minute presentation at http://www.ColdtoGold.com.

Let me know if you have any further questions - I'd love to be of help to you!
