Sales teams are often a company’s frontline to customers. By being company/product evangelist sales can have a dramatic influence on inbound marketing. In today’s networked and wired world, word of mouth marketing is more important than ever. By adding company information and links to new media tools, such as online networks and social media sites, employees can personally help generate inbound leads to a company’s website by increasing company/product awareness. Active participation in related blogs is another easy way for sales to assist with inbound marketing and company/product awareness.

In today's market there are so many tools and ways that sales can take advantage of the incoming requests and traffic a few ways such as through a company Livechat option...where sales reps can address the needs of the individuals, as well as using social media tools, like Twitter and LinkedIn for reaching out to the public. In regards to Marketing tools, CRM and soluntions such as Unica can offer this through traction and monitoring from both ends, of the sales and marketing side.
