I would consider starting small and building as you gain students and revenue. Begin by just offering tutoring to a few grade levels, and for just a couple of the most requested subjects. If you perform well and build a name for your business, your clients will ask you to expand your offerings.

Take into account as many, if not all, learning styles possible. Usually in the case of tutoring (I used to do SAT tutoring many moons ago), it's not that the student can't grasp the material, it's just not being presented to them in a way that they can easily grasp it. Some people are auditory learners, some visual, some tactile. It's the tactile that was, at one time, the hardest to deal with in a computer-based learning scenario, and then came the tablet. Now you can use your finger in a pointy-clicky, draggy-droppy format that can cater to that kind of learner as well.

The only other thing I would suggest is that if you're incorporating audio, make it good audio. If video, make it hi-def or as close to it as possible. I pulled a lecture off of MIT's Open Courseware which was borderline useless (which shocked me for MIT) because the video was so grainy and awful that you couldn't see what the lecturer was writing on the board or displaying on his projector.
