Dear Anna,
You may benefit from focusing your job search in the following ways:
1. Decide what you really want to do, what kind of job.
2. Find out what companies are looking for your skills.
3. Establish personal contacts at the companies.
4. Build relationships with people in your field.
5. Volunteer with organizations in your field.
As you build relationships, you will begin making connections and becoming known to people in your field of interest. That way you won't be sending anonymous resumes or applications, you'll already have your foot in the door.
Take care,
Guy
