How do I make inside sales fun?
What are some ways that you make inside sales fun at your company? I work with a lot of start-ups to help with their sales needs and I feel like I need some new suggestions.

From a telemarketing perspective we have found keeping people busy, setting (SMART) goals and friendly competition help. (competitions dont have to be big, winners just must have the in front of the group recognition) I believe competitions dont make the company fun empowerment is first, competition is second.
Simply by going through some exercises or training to answer these question, I have found a "boring" opportunity - has more enjoyment.
- What is the benefit of what I am selling? (not features and benefits - what is the overall economic impact the product has, by selling x units x people are employed)
- Does this product/service excite me?
- Is there value for the customer?
- Who am I selling to and what autonomy do I have for creating my own sales?
- Does my superior or the company, empower me to do my best? If not what is missing?
- Are there reasonable rewards for achieving my goals?
Empowered people will have fun.
