How do you convert a microsoft document imaging file into a jpeg file?

It looks as though you can use the Microsoft Office Document Imaging software to convert the document imaging file into a tiff format.

Once the image has been converted into tiff, opening it with most image editing programs (even MS Paint) you can then save it as jpeg image.
