How do you mitigate the risks of URL shortening?
It is so easy to spread malicious links through shortened versions (ala bit.ly) how do you mitigate these risks and know what you're really clicking to?

Are you looking for a corporate solution or a personal way to do this?
For corporate solution I suggest developing a plugin for the corporate browser of choice that will expand the URL's before they are opened. If you want to personally be more secure, you can use this site to expand URL's: http://www.expandmyurl.com/
I thought I answered this, but looks like answer got lost... if you're looking to have a personal solution to this, then try this service: http://www.expandmyurl.com/
Otherwise, for a corporate strategy it would be good to implement and a custom plugin for the company's browser that will auto-expand URL's before they're clicked.
