What are some of the strategies that you use to motivate your salespeople? I generally like to get to know what motivates them on a personal level and manage them that way. What other strategies do you use?

I think you've answered a key element that isn't always done. Motivating on a personal level is a great technique. Easy motivation can be bonuses or contests, but motivation based on personality is unique.
