According to Google, PPC does not affect organic rankings in any way.
Here are a few tips though:
1) You could use PPC data to quickly identify well converting phrases and target them in organic search.
2) Another way PPC could "affect" SEO is indirectly as much as any other form of advertising and that is by increasing visibility and awareness of your brand and potentially cause natural mentions and links to pop up in the social media, blogging community and forums.
3) You could use PPC to reinforce your brand/domain in the eyes of the user. For example they could see you in the AdWords and then notice you as a familiar result in the organic search.
4) Finally some companies decide to pair up their organic and PPC results in order to gain maximum exposure in the search results.
