Interesting that nobody has answered this question yet. I am also interested in learning how Focus selects their experts, so I am adding an "answer" so this pops back up to the top. Looking forward to hearing about this!

I'd like to know also.
Is the latest feature (points) a basis to become Focus Expert ?
How can we really trust someone who has only 18 points (like me!), or someone like Stan Prokop who has 107 points, as soon as I discover Andrew Backer has 7540 points ...;
Or there is some kind of selection process that we are not aware of ?
