How well does your sales team collaborate with your finance department?

I read an interesting article on the Big Fat Finance Blog that talks about why a sales/finance collaboration is crucial for the CFO's strategic role. (Article found here.) Informatica's CFO revealed how closely his finance and sales teams work together and how this collaboration is a win-win situation for everyone. How close are your finance and sales teams?
