How will Groupon sustain business?
From my understanding Groupon will soon be on the front line of Mobile Check-ins - offering deals on mobile phones for anything from food specials to activity deals. I found this research interesting: http://techcrunch.com/2011/03/23/groupon-u-s-revenues/ What's next for this billion dollar business? For a company with so much power, and influence, where will they conquer next?

Garrett, while Groupon has benefitted from its name recognition, this article I just read titled "Dead Heat: Groupon Down Another 32% in March, LivingSocial Ties It Up" (http://t.co/VFANGCv) may suggest Groupon's decline in influence.
This is due to more sites offering these deals, the dilution of offers through segmentation, and fatigue by customers for "daily deals".
Hey Cece,
I appreciate your attempt at answering my question - But I'm already aware that Groupon is down, and down big. I'm more interested in where they will take there business, what can Groupon offer that others can't? I know that there are hundreds, maybe even thousands of deal platforms, but Groupon was first. With that power they have a lot of options that will either make or break the company. I guess my question is still unanswered: How will they produce business in a market that is challenged right and left, what is there next step in maintaining and producing results?
Hi Garrett, That does clarify your question. I would be interested in hearing what others have to say about Groupon's opportunities in light of what you stated.
