I'm currently using Lotus notes but am looking into other CRM applications for my small business. Does anyone have any suggestions? I need to manage my contacts and I can't spend a lot of money on it.

Slow down, slow down folks. Rush to recommend without any idea of what kind of functionality is required or knowledge of process? Too soon.

Joanna, there are dozens of cheap CRM solutions out there but the big question is what do you want to do with it?

Is it mainly for tracking sales cycle work? If so Act! has an out of the box version which is cheap and great for sales work... for example.

Is it for fully functional CRM? Do you want to host or have it hosted for you? Is Notes integration key? And so on...

Before running around to investigate ten million different packages, it's best to take a little time to work out at a minimum what your investment must do, in order to be worth doing at all. Once you have some requirements searching will be much easier.

Check out Ivinex. It is very flexible in that you can easily customize it to fit your needs without needing a technical resource. It's much cheaper than salesforce.

Hello,

Try eSales from www.relavis.com . It works on Domino (Lotus Notes). So you don't need to worry much. Its customizable and very friendly. I implemented it for my previous Company. There could be newer versions now.
For a small to midsize company its good.

regards,
Dinesh

Joanna,

I see you have asked three questions, all basically related. I work with a great many carriers/solution providers both nationally and internationally. There are a a great many options available. I'd love to be of assistance, but would require considerably more information about your needs and expectations than is currently available in order to best do that. If interested, my contact information is available at www.valulinkllc.com.
