Are blade servers more green IT than traditional rack servers?
I understand that they reduce physical space and energy, but why else would one choose to purchase blade servers versus traditional rack servers? How do they compare in cost and maintenance? Are blade servers the best option for a small company moving forward?
We might be upgrading in our small company and I'm trying to get some feedback and research before approaching my team. Any thoughts on the subject would be greatly appreciated.
