So are your organization’s IT investments increasing staffing requirements, decreasing them or having no net effect? And if there are effects, where are they most significant?

Mike, We have opted the Remote Infrastructurer Management (RIM) Services.
By doing this we are in position to control our cost as well as we are in better position to maintain our SLA's at a controller cost.
RIM or Managed IT services is conceptually a good component of an overall technology management program. The concept of remotely monitoring and remediating core infrastructure components and automating recurring housekeeping tasks, can greatly reduce IT expenses. This combined with technology planning and roadmapping (which can be outsource with Virtial CIO services) to ensure organizations have a centralized approach to business process and automation goals creates a complete technology management solution.
