Looking for cheap SQL server hosting.
Does anyone know where to find cheap SQL server hosting services? I don’t need a huge amount of space or bandwidth, but I do need the system to be reliable and cost effective. Recommendations?

Hi Tim,
You may want to consider going in for a cloud instance serving SQL.
Since you do not need a lot of resources you can buy in multiples of instances and you will be on a Pay As You Go model, it will cost lesser. Would you like this covered with managed support or would you like to manage it at your end?
On the other end, if you just need shared SQL hosting, scores of providers in the shared space would fit the bill. Perhaps if you could clarify what kind of resources you seek and what cost bracket you aim at, I can share more specific information. TC, Cheers!
Hi Tim, any particular SQL engine you are looking at? MSSQL? DB2? Oracle? MySQL? PostGRE SQL? Firebird? I think you get the point... also what are you looking to do? Web services? Warehouse? DB Driven Application? Mobile Application? Again, I think you get the point.
With what little information, you may want to looking into Amazon AWS also called EC2 http://aws.amazon.com/... its an ala carte could environment. Easy to use. You may also want to look into Google base if your looking for merchant services http://base.google.com/.
