Looking for standalone call recording software?
I'm looking for a standalone call recording software that can be used for training our new agents. I'd like the ability to download the file and email the recordings straight to the agent so they can learn from it. What do you suggest?

SIP Print (sipprint.com)makes an affordable product that works with most all VOIP products. Call recordings are saved as individual files, which can be searched and copied by extension, time of day, etc.
Of course there are many others on the market as well.
If you are using IP phones, the Polycom 650 has a USB port on the back that supports a software suite that will allow you to record calls directly to a thumb drive on the phone. Other manufacturers have a similar feature.
The key to a successful implementation will be identifying your telephone system make, model, and software revision to ensure you are able to specify a system that is compatible with it. With that in hand, most resellers or consultants can help to identify several resources to provide these common features.
