The truth is that engaging content -- particularly in B2B email nurturing -- is probably the greatest hurdle. We're so used to developing static prose as marketers that we don't know how to do iterative, dynamic, dialogue content. It doesn't matter how good your list segmentation is, if you can't engage your prospect, it will limit your success.
This is a topic that Jep Castelein raised on his Lead Sloth blog in the last 24 hours. So a good parallel dialogue stream.

Honestly, avoiding all the affiliate dog tail chases that are out there convincing people they have the next big secret to fortune. I want real advice to do it the honest way. The best idea I've heard recently is simply segmenting your email list!! So, advanced? Try beginner (who's a quick learner!).
Well said, Adam. I agree, we must be able to write content that SELLS, not entertains, especially without knowing the audience first!
