4) When should you NOT do hybrid events?

Working on the "vendor/technology provider" side of the discussion, it's hard not to become somewhat bias. I definitely appreciate that hybrid events are not always appropriate or valuable in certain situations and will do my best to dissuade clients that may have chosen the wrong path, but I've never had a conversation specifically around when you should NOT (and why).

Cheers,
Nick

2) If there’s one aspect of a hybrid event to do well, what is it, and why?
a. Make virtual participants welcome. Acknowledge them and intertwingle their questions with in-room audience questions. b. Provide virtual attendees with windows into the buzz and excitement of the physical show. "Man on the street" interviews. Brief Subject Matter Expert interviews. Event cams. Make the navigation to these complementary materials simple, ubiquitous.
