Salesforce's dreamforce event - what'll be the newsy stuff?
Salesforce's annual dreamforce user conference is coming up in a couple of weeks - last year saw the announcement of Chatter free, the acquisition of Heroku and the launch of database.com. What are your top pics for what salesforce will annoucne at the Moscone centre this year?

This year at Dreamforce, prepare to hear the term "Social Enterprise" bandied about quite a bit. There will be some though provoking real-world examples of industry-leaders (including Salesforce.com) adding social as a logical next-step in the communications wheel. That includes the entire arc of prospect / customer interaction: from marketing to sales and throughout service. ICMI (International Contact Center Management) has a huge presence at Dreamforce for the second year running. For anyone in contact center management, I highly recommend taking part in as many of the session you can. Any announcements at Dreamforce (I predict) will tie nicely into the "Social as a Supplement" message in the Social Enterprise theme.
Of course, with Service Cloud 2 beefed up through the past two releases, and the acquisition of Radian6, all things service and using integrated intelligence to refine efforts at each touch point will be the sizzle-y stuff this year.
