I would recommend you take a look at the following information from IRS to help you with your question:
1) www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/p334.pdf (Small Business Tax Guide)
2) www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/i1120s.pdf (Form 1120-S Corp instructions 2009)
The website for IRS is www.irs.gov/ and it is quite a handy site. There are search boxes for typing in questions, etc.
