Time or Money?
There is a saying in marketing that there is never enough time or money to do it right; but there is always enough time and money to do it over. Where do you place your priority and how do you navigate this fine line? More companies are looking at outsourcing as opposed to keeping everything in house. They see the benefits of handing over a portion of their processes to someone who focuses specifically in that niche of their business model. When do you reach the point where you realize that you need outside help?

If the management is hands-on and has time (even a few hours a week is okay) to spend then keeping the efforts in-house is a good thing. If you are big company you can afford to recruit the right people and keep marketing in house. But if you are a small company or a fast growing company, it is better to outsource some of the marketing efforts to experts, so that you can concentrate on other areas of growth.
