Voip adapter for business use?

I've decided to start working from home a few days a week, but I need a VoIP adapter for my home phone. What brands are good to use? I see that Vonage, Sipura, and D-link all make voip adapters... is there one that you would recommend specifically for business use? thanks for the help.

I would recommend against using any ATA, they will never give you the quality of a real VoIP phone.

I recommend Cisco ATA188 or Linksys SPA2102, I have work with both, specially the Linksys that work well and have good price.

Regards.

In my office we use Packet 8 and I have a girl who also works from home and she found that Vocalocity works great for her. Vonage also has great rates but does not provide you with a phone.

the question can not be answered without knowing what system is in your office, and what functionality you expect. Do you want your office extension to ring and get to you real time? do you use PRI or analog lines in the office?.
