Website Editorial InBound Revision?
With all the talk and work going into revising social media content from, "here's my stuff, buy it because it's great!" to, "if you have this problem, here's how to solve it...", has it been favorable to revamp all of the content on a business's website to reflect this "we're here to help" as opposed to "we're great and so is our stuff" tone?

not really sure what type of entity you are referring to.
If it is a business.. you need to understand your competitors' weaknesses.
Play up those strengths that are also their weakness.
You wouldn't change the tone of your website, just add FaceBook, Twitter, LinkedIn and a blog and address your cust. service issues there. If i go to YOUR website i want to know about YOU.. not what some jerk who had a bad day does.. GIVE ME THE FACTS!!
save the opinion for social media.
