All-in-one programs seem convenient, but is it better to go with different programs to meet your range of security needs?

The answer to this question is that it depends. They both have pros and cons, you should really look at it from what are you trying to achieve, what regulatory requirements are necessary, what is your current setup, what is your budget, and what expertise do you already have in house.

An all in one solution might be the right answer for a small shop that just needs to serve an office or a single website with a limited budget or limited in-house expertise.

A multiple vendor solution might be a good for a large shop with a large in house knowledge base, complex network, and regulatory requirements.

In my opinion there is no one right answer for this. The way to look at this is to see what you need and determine the solution from that.
