What are the benefits of setting up an offshore merchant account?
I've been doing some research and all I've been coming across is HIGH RISK offshore merchant accounts. I'm looking at setting up an offshore account, but I want to know what the benefits are.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong here...
The only reason to have an off-shore account is the evasion of income taxes.
I would be reluctant to deal with any company that is not governed by US laws.
