What are the best alternatives of SalesForce CRM?

I had tried Salesforce CRM, but it seems too complex for me and also it is really expensive. I am looking for something a lot easier for use. I heard that SugarCRM and WebCRM are good choices. What do you recommend.

George, it's largely going to be based on your specific requirements, priorities, and constraints. I recently answered a similar question on Focus.com that details some of the other options.

If you can be a little more specific about why and how you are using CRM, I am more than happy to share some additional insight.

Thanks for the great answer Brian, I am running a small web design agency and I need some kind of CRM software to keep track of my projects.

My requirements are to be easy for use and also to be web-based since I do not want to install any programs on my computer. We are running advertising campaigns as well and it will be great if the tool can keep track of everything for me :)

Hope this will help you to give me more particular oppinion, best regards

George,

If it's a small group, you can look at the stuff from 37 signals: basecamp and highrise. Also, check out Podio, which has its roots in collaboration and Project management, but has add-ons that include basic CRM components.

SugarCRM is also worth checking out from a low cost perspective.

BatchBlue is also affordable and contains the primary nuts and bolts.

Depdending on how heavy you are on content/marketing automation, an outlier here might be infusionsoft, depending upon how much you plan on leveraging marketing automation/auto-responder type technology.

There's other options and plenty more layers of the onion to peel back, but hopefully that gets you started on the right track.

Happy to help further if you'd like.

Thanks Brian, great answer and it helps me a lot, I will try sme of the solutions you mentioned and see if they work for me. However from everything I read webcrm.com seems to be offering what I need.

Have you used that CRM solution? What do you think about it?

Best Regards

I have no experience with Web CRM, nor have I heard of anyone who has.

Yes they are not really popular in the US, but they recently opened an office in San Diego. Here in UK they are among the most popular CRM vendors

There seems to be at TON of CRM’s coming into the market. Saleforce.com will have more competition for sure.

Large companies… head to head, Oracle CRM On Demand seems to be a CRM to check out.

Small to medium there are beginning to be a large number, almost confusing. But, I did a couple months of research for an organization with close to fifty offices across the United States.

SalesNexus.com was one of the top for low cost but lots of features and great support.

FrontRow.com was a relatively new but proven for a great option for companies with outside sales forces. Updating the CRM in the field took under a minute. Worth checking out.

Nimble.com is coming out and looks very interesting, it helps combined all the Social Media, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, other, all into your CRM. It is defiantly worth checking out.

Zoho.com is a low cost and many individual sales professionals have given me great feedback. Low cost, options expanding.

Saleforce.com is a great CRM but there is becoming a lot more options day by the day.

Yes I had checked Salesforce.com, but it seems too comlicated for me. I am looking for something more simpler like WebCRM. BTW What is your oppinion about this CRM solution, had anyone tried it?

I am really struggling to make the choice :)

I have been messing around with a free trial of an online CRM solution from Pipeline Deals (www.pipelinedeals.com) and so far it's been great.

The software is clean, simple, easy to learn and is not overly complicated or expensive. Perfect for my requirements, maybe you should check it out.

George,

Give Salestrakr CRM a look (www.salestrakr.com). It's easy to use, fast and very easy to purchase and implement. All the key features you will want to use are there in Salestrakr without the hefty price tag.

George,

Take a look at SalesNexus.com. For a web design business, it could be a good fit. Includes unlimited email marketing so that all leads from your website can go directly on an on-going drip email marketing campaign.
