What are some of the best CRM solutions?
I am doing some research to try to come up with a top 10 list for CRM solutions for small business. I would like to get feedback from individuals that have recently purchased (in the last 2 years) a CRM solution for their business.

Don't drive by lists or technology.
Start by documenting your sales processes and related needs. Prioritize and then start looking around.
You will only need one system, and if it is the right one, you won't care if it was in a 'Top 10' list or not...
Salesforce.com is a pretty amazing tool. The edition based pricing (use more - pay more) can make it a good fit for SMBs.
A colleague recently rolled out Zoho CRM (crm.zoho.com) and speaks rather highly of it.
There is a top ten list included in http://www.focus.com/ugr/research/crm/how-pick-right-crm-helpdesk-bpm-vendor. Of these, I would not recommend the Siebel on-premise solution for a small business, but the on-demand version might be appropriate.
CRM solutions vary in complexity and verticals they serve
A CRM software working well for 10 users may not scale up to 10,000
Generic CRM can't fit needs of industries like oil or pharma
There is no one CRM fits all prescription
For life science and pharma centric , check www.cegedim.com
for small to medium size generic one, see http://www.sugarcrm.com

After using and viewing demos of multiple providers, here is my suggestion. I recommend using a combination of Astute Solutions CRM platform along with OnTheSystem, an online software application that integrates multiple management tools to create a ready-to-use best practices framework.
I like Astute Solutions CRM because of its unmatched B2B and B2C functionality. Also, it can be tailored to your specific needs without
the expensive and lengthy customization efforts of most CRM solutions. See http://www.astutesolutions.com for more details.
OnTheSystem is like Facebook® for managing a business. It combines a customizable, web-based ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) with an innovative social media interface. The result is a flexible management framework that connects every employee to the company’s strategies and to each other. It provides boundary-less communication and collaboration. It gives every employee an equal voice and an equal opportunity to make a difference. It’s the net-generation’s way to manage a company: simple, open, agile, elegant, innovative and fun. It is available from Synergy Vision Partners at http://www.synergyvisionpartners.com
I hope this helps!

For individual networking, you may want to consider WeMeUs.com. It manages networking activities and integrates with contact lists from email systems, LinkedIn, etc.
Microsofts Dynamic CRM Solution cannot be ignored and now has over 1,000,000 users worldwide.
It's works like Office and Outlook, has full CRM Capabilities and is extremely flexible. I used to work for Siebel and would recommend Microsofts solution highly to any organisation.
