What are some examples of the best Wordpress business websites?

This should be businesses selling offline (not ecommerce). It doesn't have to be B2B, but selling not through a shopping cart (real estate, cars, financial services to individuals, etc). Not looking for themes, but example functioning websites that are hosted on their own domain, do a good job presenting information categories for static data and integrating social and sharing into the experience.

Nice job! I like the layout and the static presentation. Are you looking to leverage more of the Wordpress Plugins to add more sharing/social capabilities?

Scott, Sorry for not replying sooner. We are always looking to find ways to integrate any suggestions on plugins?

There are many, but the more important thing is having the social channels, content and overall strategy settled so that you can take advantage of the channels. Here are some http://enbeeone3.com/top-20-best-wordpress-social-sharing-plugins-for-2011/

we just incorporated WP for our social pages and kept the rest of the site HTML on our server so we can easily make updates, as I prefer Dreamweaver when doing it myself. Much to my 'true' developer's dismay ;)

The site is: http://brillcreative.com/

The social pages are: http://brillcreative.com/blog/

And: http://brillcreative.com/creative-buzz/

Any feedback is welcome and appreciated.
Kind regards, Dan

My company redesigned our website using Wordpress last year. You are welcome to take a look: www.kbc-inc.com

Well, I believe in the "release early, iterate often" mantra. So, the site is never fully complete. But it is out there, earning its high rankings in Google, and delivering actionable advice to our visitors. And it's built on WP.

Nice examples. Thanks! I also just found time to (duh! Why didn't I do that right away) Google it and found the Wordpress.org showcase, business category. Some of these don't fit my definition (i.e. a section of a business site selling offline or an ecommerce), but some, like Cloudera, definitely do - and are definitely impressive. http://wordpress.org/showcase/tag/business/ -- Still would love to hear from more folks with more examples.

My site is a bit different because it's a blog/business site that moves users to our membership-based small business community (which is also built in WordPress/BuddyPress), but I think it's another good business-focused WordPress example: http://www.smallbusinessbonfire.com

Well, if everyone else is tooting their own horns, then I'll do the same. :) This is a site that my design agency designed from the ground up and built a WP theme based on that design: http://mindoverbar.com

WordPress sites don't have to be based on existing templates!

Nice work Whit. And that's is a good point for prospects to keep in mind. Completely customized WP designs and concepts can be developed by talented studios and individuals that have the knowledge and resources. I would always recommend reaching out to an agency or several to get their insight on what might be best for their particular needs VS just running with a template. There's a lot more that can be done than they may be aware of and an overall targeted strategy combined with great design and content is what's going to make a site stand out and get the results they are looking for. You won't find that in a template. Talk with some professionals before making the leap.

There is some excellent work on that showcase link too Scott. Thanks for sharing.
