What are some good custom web analytic tools?
This will be used for a site that receives around 60,000 monthly visitors. We need to be able to track the number of hits on strategic pieces of content and understand the pages our visitors are viewing in a single session. In other words, there needs to be much more customization than Google analytics allows. Also, it needs to be a tool that won't break the budget. Thanks for your help.

I've heard good things about www.crazyegg.com, and I think they can give you a lot of insight into an individual's journey on your website. Is your site B2B or B2C? If it is B2B I would also argue that there is more value from looking at analytics from an account-based perspective, trying to gain insight into which companies are responding to you online. After all, when is the last time you sold to just one person at a company?
Hi Bryan,
If yours is a B2B website, then you can probably check out www.leadformix.com.
LeadFormix is actually a marketing automation platform, which also provides superior quality information on website visitors (web analytics).
It goes beyond Google to find the identity and also the intent of a website visitor. It can also provide data at both the individual and company level, making it easier to understand both the individual and group motivations for visiting a website.
There is a 14 day- no obligation trial offer that is on, you might want to check and see, if this is the kind of web analytics data you are looking for.
Even the most basic version of LeadFormix provides this analytical data.
Hope that helps
Cheers
