I recommend a few marketing tactics. First, create really good content - not just ordinary content but really exceptional content. This might take the form of checklists, infographics, or freely downloadable presentations. Second, distribute that everywhere you can. Don't worry about "giving away too much". You want to show off and look bigger than you are. Third, and most importantly, network as much as you can. This includes networking personally in a one on one fashion, but also involve becoming part of the industry by attending lots of events, taking any speaking opportunity you can, and joining as many groups as you can.
