What are some interesting and current small business statistics?
I'd like to see some of the current small business statistics on business formation and job creation. Where can I go to find this information? Also, how does one classify a small business as "small?" Does it go by employee size? Or revenue?

A good salesman once told me that "52.4% of all statistics are made up.", so I always take into consideration who is providing the statistic, and then only believe that it may be so and use my own intelligence and intuition. ;-)
