I would say it is not limited to three but here are a few. Try and get an assessment of your network either by a third party or a VoIP vendor that can better assess your needs.
Depending on if you are doing a forklift operation or a slow migration. Consider
Bandwidth issues
Compatibility issues
Sufficient support in your area
* QoS on the router if your networking to another site on a closed WAN.
* Router needs to be able to pass voice to the data network and vice versa.
* Insure your L2's / L3's can do VLAN''s.
* Powering the phones. Bricks, PoE at the L2/3, or injection.
