What are the top multifunction printers in the market?

I’m looking for a quality piece of equipment that will support a small healthcare office. We don’t have a huge budget, but we want something that is reliable. Any suggestions?

Check for which strikes you most favorably among this group of MFPs:

Canon: imageCLASS MF4350d
Epson WorkForce 610 (I have this one, but only because Epson gave it to me for an eval). The scanner/copier has a nice document feed.
HP Officejet 4500 Wireless All-in-Oneprinter
Samsung monochrome laser SCX-4623F

If you don't need color, go with a monochrome laser - cheaper per page, even when the inkjet is doing black and white.

Jodie,
What I have recommended to my clients for the past couple of years is the Toshiba EStudio line of All in one printer/scanner/copiers. They are not counter top units but they don't take up a lot of real estate either. They are high speed heavy duty. The two most important things, and I can't express this enough.
1, Don't buy it. Rent it, my customers pay about $100.00 a month but the includes a maintenance and any upgrades. Then when and if you need a bigger or faster system you can just walk away from it. A perfect example of this is a Chiropractic office I consult for had there system for 4 years and then we upgrade their systems which came with windows7. Them model Toshiba didn't support win7(no drivers). The called there vendor and the following week they swapped out the old for the new. No difference in monthly cost.
2. Make sure the vendor you deal with has a properly trained support staff and keep a fair inventory of spare parts in case they are needed.

Hope this helped.

Hey Jodie I just went through the process of buying a new printer for the office building I own. I bought a Toshiba E452 for 4000. I'm not sure if that's in your price range, but i got a few different quotes from http://www.bestbusinesscopiers.com/ you can definitely find something that's in your price range.
