What are the top small business resources available online?
I'm looking for resources and advice for my small business, but I don't want to spend a lot of time or money searching for it. What are some free online resources for small business owners?

Check your state's Small Business Development Bureau. The one for Kansas helped me get the business up and running properly. Of course they do not do everything and some of "their" functions are out sourced to professionals that you have to pay for. But, the generalities are there and in the case of the office I used the price was free (hard to turn down); that being said, you will have to fill out government paperwork and answer surveys from time to time. The last time I checked their website for the federal program was www.sba.gov and then browse from there. Good Luck.
The free site www.charlotte-entrepreneur.com has a lot of online resources for small businesses. It focuses on the Charlotte, NC market but roughly half of the links are to online sources for startups.
