My presentation is called, "Nurturing You And Your Leads Will Love: Using segmenting and automation to give leads a personalized experience", and will look at putting together lead nurturing that engages your leads and produces results.
Most marketers are daunted by the need to continuously develop content. And too many organizations are using lead nurturing technology for nothing more than automating email blasts -- which is not really lead nurturing, and it doesn't establish a conversation with the lead.
My talk will look at how to easily establish a highly personalized lead nurturing strategy that engages your leads - including how to segment, send frequencies that matches interest arcs, and how to establish a lead nurturing matrix.
It's time to work smarter with our lead nurturing efforts!
Hope to see you there!

p.s. for those interested in the content development side of things, its' important to understand the primal factors that contribute to instant appeal and engagement. I've just interviewed Vicki Kunkel, author of Instant Appeal: The 8 Primal Factors That Lead to Blockbuster Success -- it will give you some great ideas and insights that will help you craft your content and messages.

Business professionals attend conferences, trade shows and conventions to make new contacts. However, once at the events most fail to make meaningful connections. My "Conference Catalyst" program will make networking "real".
People want to meet each other at conferences and I will inspire action for rapid and engaging conversations. Audiences across industry lines appreciate how this program impacts the experience of attending business events.
I will on a panel but area of expertise is to answer questions on running a successful team blog particularly those aimed at the B2B space.
Presentation will be informal focusing on the Top Ten things you should know before starting a team blog.
I am on a Social Media panel and I will be talking about making business personal, starting on the personal side and moving it into business.
Creating "personal" relationships through insightful social media examination, particularly with LinkedIn profiles.
I will also be talking about event behavior and event follow-up using Social Media. Engagement strategies and tactics.
I will be speaking on lead nurturing for the middle of the funnel as this is one of the most vital pieces that is missing in organizations. Many orgs concentrate on the top of the funnel and getting the inquiries to the next stage; however the middle of the funnel is where organizations can see some of the greatest impact and push to revenue.
A marketing qualified lead that is moved to Sales Accepted then Sales Qualified has a higher propensity to close. This will enable the increase in revenue.
This is what we will focus on during my DemandCon session.

I am running a panel entitled: After the Lead: Best Practices for Turning Leads Into Sales Opportunities. We go Wednesday May 18th at 3pm. My panelists are: Matt Heinz of Heinz Marketing and Stu Silverman of SalesRamp.
We are going to talk primarily about the marketing to sales hand off and best practices there. This is a topic near and dear to my heart: Helping clients turn the "this marketing campaign isn't working and sales is pissed" to "this marketing campaign is working and sales wants more.". We will help you bridge the gap. The panelists have over 60 years of experience dealing with these issues.
Here is what I promise:
1. No slide deck
2. Real take-aways you can go and do right away
3. Fun.
See you there.
I'll be asking the ubiquituous question:
How come so many PowerPoint
presentations suck so badly??
In addition to answering that question, I will offer solutions to help yours suck less...
I've put together a special presentation (not using powerpoint btw) to take everyone behind the scenes at Concur Technologies to show their end to lead management solution which includes funnel taxonomy and process, lead scoring, and nurturing.
I decided to select this case study given the conference focus on the funnel. Since Concur has a complete integrated solution, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to show the attendees a great approach and solution.
I will be speaking at DemandCon on how sales and marketing professionals can leverage data/trends gleaned from social media monitoring and analysis to help drive marketing strategies and tactics and help sales professionals manage the sales funnel.
Marketing professionals can utilize marketplace and competitive intelligence (via social monitoring) to find additional marketplace opportunities, improve their marketing messages and find key influencers and opinion leaders. Sales professionals can find value in social analytics by better understanding the marketplace and what customers/prospects are saying about their company/brands, competitors and the marketplace in general.

At DemandCon, I am talking about the state of the union of demand generation, but even more importantly, I'm going to challenge people to change their mindsets. I'll be making some bold claims that at first seem counterintuitive to most of us, but represent what the best in class companies are doing.
I'll be speaking about how virtual events can fuel your sales pipeline and enable accelerated lead qualification. If you're curious about virtual events and want to hear how to effectively use them for lead gen, I'd love for you to come by.
The Webinar is an effective vehicle to listen to, engage and educate customers - but how do you deliver a successful webinar that will both attract the right attendees and meet their expectations, so they’ll want to have a conversation with you after the webinar?
I will be providing a tutorial called a Roadmap for Managing the Webinar Life Cycle - From Start to Finish. It will cover methodologies, 10+ best practices and key metrics to deliver engaging webinars with predictable outcomes.
If you deliver or produce webinars, or are thinking of adding webinars to your marketing arsenal, I hope to see you there.
