Here are some tips of the successful promoters on YouTube...
1. Do provide a bite sized clip that delivers real value; not just touts your brand or product. "How to's", short case studies, explanation of a critical product feature, how to evaluate brands, etc. Remember, do not sell here, deliver valuable information.
2. Repeat. Repeat. To build brand memorability. Following from #1 above, create a series that people will want to go back to.
3. Imbed an offer. To capture a live lead, include an offer or invitation that will lead the viewer to your site. This offer does not necessarily need to be to book a sale. The offer could be to go to your site to download a more detailed explanation, a transcript of the video information, an online catalogue, etc. You get the idea. The important thing is to harvest the interest you/ve created from the YouTube video, and take the viewer to the 'next step'.
4. High production values. Don't skimp on production. Your video will transmit an image: it needs to be supportive of and consistent with the brand image you hold or aspire to.
Hope this helps.
