We've all experienced them at some time in our careers, but how can you identify them and avoid them in future? What are your top 5 traits of a bad future boss or line manager? Here are mine:

1. An "empire builder" who doesnt delegate responsibilities or empower their staff (Self-Confidence Issues)

2. A micro-manager who involves themselves unnecessarily in every detail (Trust Issues)

3. A manager who blames their team-members and takes credit for their glory (Non-Team Player)

4. Someone who does very little listening to their key resources and ignores their advice. (Know-it-all)

5. Someone who doesnt understand the basic principle that a good manager is their to support his/her team, not the other way around. (Social Skills Issues)
