There are dozens of companies solely dedicated to serving companies teleconferencing needs. I would evaluate different providers based on the functionality your company is looking for and how much of a monetary investment you are willing to make.

If you are looking for teleconferencing for video conferencing purposes, I would take a look at Polycom. The company has a number of different video conferencing phones that support high definition voice for both personal and business purposes. A phone that stands out in particular is the VVX 1500. It's both cost-effective and offers great functionality.

If your company is evaluating teleconferencing solutions to cut costs and support remote users, I would take a look at the hard hitters in the industry such as Adobe, Microsoft, Cisco, Intercall and Citrix.

If you are looking for a cost-effective and easy to use system, I would take a closer look at Citrix, which offers both GoToMeeting and GoToWebinar. Citrix is designed for both internal and external purposes including client and company meetings, product demos, webinars and tech support. Citrix is a hosted solution so scaling your needs is very easy and your company won't need to house a server, which keeps down the costs of utilizing a web conferencing application.

Overall, I would take a look at different vendor's websites and also take a couple of demos to evaluate your needs. Good luck!

There are many options when trying to find a teleconference solution. There can be many obstacles including technology and cost. I found a good site which explains the several different options.

A lot of the big carriers sell (or resell) online and it’s hard to tell what’s good. I’d recommend Intercall for business. They give better (or at least equal) service than the large telecom providers. They only do conferencing, and they do it well.

They also tend to be cheaper than the large telecom companies, but offer equal if not better service.

I like AccuConference. I've a number of friends and clients who use it and like it. I’ve found they have good support and features, and it’s not too expensive.

The best conferencing provider we have yet had to date is Mercuri Conferencing. Cheap rates, high end quality service that no one else in the industry can compare to and their customer service (actual human) 24/7/365. We are also experimenting with web conferencing and they have their own program they use, I believe it's called Illustrate and thus far seems to work flawlessly. The sales man who called me was Wesley, give them a call 1-888-661-7777 ext. 126. He would be more than happy to speak to you about your conferencing needs.
