What is the best webinar tool you've used?
What do you recommend I use for a webinar that I will present live online and then make available as a recording/video afterwards? We'll be doing a live screen-capture demo of our software rather than a slideshow. Or maybe both together if possible.

www.gotomeeting.com is reliable, inexpensive and easy to use, or www.gotowebinar.com if you have more than 15 attendees
Hi Dan,
I agree with Simon. If you are going to include Power Point slides then gotowebinar is probably the best bet. If you do not need participants to be on their computers you can use http://www.freeconferencecalling.com for up to 500 people free. You also have the ability to single out people for questions and you can see all participants on your monitor while in session. They have good demo videos too. You might be able to find uses for both applications.

I recently found Netviewer, which is the European competitor to GoToMeeting, and have been very impressed. For less than $40 a month, you get everything in GoToWebinar including desktop sharing and recording, for up to 100 attendees, and also can use up to 10 webcams simultaneously. They now have servers in the US, which is a help if you are doing international webinars. And if you want to contact me, I'll be happy to give you a free training on it. gary at consolecall dot com
