One of the most challenging aspects of recruiting for me is the inefficiency of job posting websites. The big job websites do not provide me with qualified applicants. Usually, I get flooded with hundreds if not thousands of resumes for each open position. Most of these applicants are not qualified for the job.
I work in international regions, so the biggest challenge I have faced is finding the right candidates for jobs in remote countries where I, or the hiring organisation, has little experience.
I have been mostly successful, but it requires a good research network.
