You either 1. pay for placement (gets you on the first page but costs...)
2. pay an SEO (search engine optimization) company to build your onsite and offsite optimization. Again...it costs.
3. Do it yourself onsite and offsite optimization. It takes time and effort.
2 & 3 above will raise you "organic" search.
Your site is currently unranked...so it must be new.
Also possibly too many characters in your Meta Description

Got on the first page of Google in that 30 day effort.
Let me know if any Q's
David posts some good answers. Paid search (pay per click, Google AdWords) is going to be the quickest way for you to gain traffic. It allows some great targeting features and other benefits, but as David mentions, it will cost you more money as you'll be paying for click costs in addition to campaign management by an outside party (if you go that route).
SEO is great - it has long-term benefits, but results also take longer to appear. If you need traffic now, you might need to shelve SEO for the time being unless your budget (time and money) allows you to shoot for multiple tactics.
Because your site is so niched, both types of search marketing if implemented correctly could be successful for you.
Because you're selling to specific communities, I also wouldn't overlook social media. There are ways you can find groups of these professionals, build their trust, post valuable content, and get good long-term relationships and sales out of it. This would primarily be a long-term answer as well.
If you'd like to discuss any of these further, I'd be happy to do a free consultation. :)
The best thing would be to find relevant forums where your target audience is present. Give links in your signature and actively take part in the discussion. Give relevant answers with regards to your expertise. That will automatically drive people to your site.
Set up your own business and fan page on face book and spread the word amongst your contacts,
As far as website visibility is concerned, for that you shall need to work on SEO. Focus on your relevant keywords and try to optimize your site based on those.
Ray, there is no reason your site can't rank high for all your major products. As it is, when I searched "combat knives" your site didn't come up in the first 300.
This is not a surprise, as the source code shows no evidence of any competent SEO work. The title tag is the most important and the knives page has keywords and descriptions with so few appropriate keywords as to be counter productive.
I'm confident you can succeed with SEO, because I did a site for a retail store five years ago and got their products placed higher than the manufacturers themselves could.
Your challenge is to overcome the coding that the shopping cart is imposing on the pages.
While it isn't cheap, SEO is the most cost effective way to get traffic, butyou must use competent help. Too many people claim to know SEO, but are clueless. Be sure to ask to see their successful sites and do searches yourself to verify the listing ranking for the actual terms people use to search for those products.
Use signature lines back to your website in your posts. All network marketing sites are a good way to make connections with others. Article writing is also very important.
I hope this helps.

I have found that finding a company that already has impressive media exposure, is part of a well established industry that only continues to excel despite the economy, offers continuous education for its' members to grow, and most of the education is free and done mostly online, sets up its' members with a free website to market their products, and, offers additional website marketing, and irresistable incentives (its' partners may pay for airfare and accommodations, dining and entertainment for feedback in return), that can incite and generate an entrepreneur spirit, in the foremost novice, is sure to facilitate anyone in becoming successful.
I have tried many home-based businesses over the years, but, the only one that has put me on the road to success, can be found at:http://eleganthoneymoons.traverustravelnetwork.com. This company can and will help anyone to become a certified travel agent on the very day they sign up as a member, direct a person to train with major cruise line companies and book a group cruise, which generate a commission of upwards from $12k to $50k, just from one cruise trip. And, the proceeds are resolute. I would recommend this company to everyone, since, most persons feel the need to take a vacation. Even if one does not want/need a second income, the benefits for themselves, on a personal level, are quite advantageous. I can not stop talking about this company!!!
Everyone responding to your question thus far offered intelligent, useful information. However, I would ask you to reconsider your original question and expectation, this time with greater focus. For example, very, very few businesses anywhere in the world “explode.” Not brick and mortar stores. Not Internet web sites. Those who experience “success” are well prepared in advance, which is what you seek, so congratulations are in order.
Yet after reading previous answers, I’m not convinced you are without alternatives. This might require more imagination, greater clarity, and specific goal setting on your part. Think Ray, who can benefit most from your service, where are they, how can you reach them, directly, spending minimal time, energy, or financial resources? And if you never remember anything else, always go to the person at the top. It is not a mass response, but an individual one from a key player in a unique situation with many of their own contacts that you need to reach first. A serious fault in many business ventures is the urge to spread information so far, so wide, so deep, so fast, eventually they burn out. All that is usually required are a few powerful connections with people in a position of authority.
Who are they? How can they benefit from your product line? As Napoleon Hill stated Ray: “Think”…………..and (then) grow rich.” Many entrepreneurs only dwell on the rich part. Focus, clarity, goal setting, and then immediate action: this is what you really seek. That is how things eventually explode: only from an intricate arrangement that initially begins in the mind of one key player.
