I guess it goes about Salesforce.com, does it? :)
I am missing No1.: lack of localization. Without it Salesforce.com is useless in CEE ;)
In the interest of full disclosure, our firm (www.intellitecsolutions.com) handles Microsoft CRM, so you can say I am biased. That said:
You will not be able to sync recurring calendar events, or calendar event with locations longer than 80 characters. Multiday events sync as single events.
Email attachments from Outlook do not sync to Salesforce.com
There are issues with rich text formatting, in some situations Saleforce will overwrite your Outlook formatting and you will not be able to change it back
Lastly, it took 3 full months after the release of Outlook 2010 for it to be fully supported in Salesforce. Given the fact that Salesforce had access to the code months before the release, that is rather shoddy, and does not bode well for future releases of Outlook
Interesting response, Tom...but very salesperson-centric (as in, the salesperson who lives and dies in Outlook).
But what about the marketers and the operations people? I'm a SFDC power user (and fan) who makes extensive use of the campaigns tab in SFDC. Just saying, let's not limit this discussion to the salespeople recording their tasks and interactions. I'd love to hear about the depth and breadth that classifies a tool as a CRM tool and not just a sales force automation tool...
