Advertising will continue to adjust and morph to intercept us in a more fluid, seamless way, based on how we live and work. More and more media and creative opportunities will be found to try to time the delivery of the ad message closer to the "moment of truth" when we are nearing a decision point. Having said all that, the area of re-marketing (following your website visitors across the web and presenting relevant ad messages inside relevant website sites that they visit..) hold the most promise...

I think advertising would experience remodeling very soon, due to the influx of novel systems, platforms, and capping evolution of new media. In terms of trends and technologies, expectations are fingering adaptation to new human attention transferors with the aim of heightening advert effectiveness and performance, while mobile and web systems would be greatly explored to optimise the attendant trend.

That's happening already in 2 ways - new media and more personalized approach. On the other hand, I don't think the traditional ways are going to disappear any soon. Obviously this depends on the product... but as far as you'll continue having products suitable for masses, the traditional ways like TV adds, print or outdoor will continue being used quite widely.

I agree with the points made above. Each channel in the marketing tool kit serves a purpose. The smart marketers are learning how to combine channels to create the most effective mix of marketing channels for the needs of their business.

Re-marketing is highly effective if you have people coming to your website that you want to bring back and convert to a customer. This channel will continue to grow and become a dominate vehicle in most marketers tool kits b/c of its high conversion rates and low CPAs.

Mobile marketing is also showing a lot of promise in creating demand and driving adoption at low CPAs and high conversion rates. Currently its the wild west - but this channel will evolve over time and new standards will be put into place.
