My company, A&R Benefits, performs HR Compliance audits.

We look at the major areas of HR such as the Department itself and its policies, the Application process, Employee Onboarding, Employee Benefits, the Employee Handbook, Safety and Training and Employee Records. We also interview several hiring managers to make sure the questions they ask in the employee interview process are legal and germane to the job itself and the applicant's experience.

We like to say the HR Complaince Audit is much like what a SOX audit is for publicly traded companies in their finance departments.

We offer recommendations on Extremely Critical areas of non-compliance (such as the lack of labor law posters or a deficient Employee Handbook) within 2 days of the completion of the audit; other areas are addressed in a written recommendation within 30 - 45 days of the audit completion.

We base our recommendations on Best Practices within the HR field.

Feel free to give me a call if you want to dicuss this further at 408-266-7179, extension 12.
