It is important to define these factors for your company when you put together your plan. Your projects success should be measured by the goals you are hoping to obtain. Quite simply said, if you are looking to reduce errors in inventory or reduce late orders then these should all be listed as factors for your projects success. The way to figure out your projects success is to define why you are implementing a new system. What are the pain points you are trying to address?

I can give you success criteria based on academic literature, experience, and TONS of research. HOWEVER, when you are talking about a PERCEPTION that is more about expectation management.
And everyone's perception is similar to their opinions. Everyone can have a different one...
