What features aren't necessary for business phone systems?
I'm looking for a business phone system, and want something simple that gets the job done. What bells and whistles do I absolutely NOT need?

The quick answer is; any features that you can't find a business use for, or can't justify based on an estimated ROI. That said, make sure you include soft costs, like improved customer service and customer experience when evaluating features. Pretty much every bell and whistle offered by a phone system vendor has a legitimate purpose and is worth the money to the right company. The question is, does that bell or whistle pertain to you or not?
What is the nature of your business and number of extensions you require?
Being that you are a small business it's pretty safe to say you are doing it all right now " Chief Cook and Bottle Washer". With that being said a phone system is a way for your customer/client/patient/buyer to communicate with you while you are busy or not available. I can show you several different options tailored to your needs as a business owner now and for the future, my email address is bhenderson@teleco-ilm.com you can also visit us on the web www.teleco-ilm.com
