Keith -

This is a trick question and can't be answered without more information. Average conversion rates will vary depending on a whole host of variables including the source of media/traffic, the cost/benefit of the offer and the messaging of that offer. There are also external factors like seasonality and timing. I am not covering all the variables but I think you will get the point.

Can you provide more information about a specific campaign?

Thanks - Howie

Best answer would be between .1% and 100%. It all depends on the business, the medium and what you are trying to convert. Are you selling widgets or white papers? Viagra or socks?

To me..its not about what the industry is converting, its what your business is converting and how well its done via modeling over the last 12 months.
