I don't have the answer for you on 'the best' , but this is a well covered topic. I would recommend first that you use the 'Search for business expertise...' field at the top of this page, using the search term "IP Phone". You will find many responses to this search, including comments and guides. Once you review what has already been documented on Focus.com, I think you might be able to pose a less general question that might garner more valuable responses.
edit: among others links, I just stumbled across this on demand webcast that might also prove useful to you :

Our Lab has tested quite a few phones and the question of "Best" has a lot qualifiers:
Brands:
Best Budget Phones - Yealink (good build, lots of features pretty stable and cheap)
Best Mid-range Phone - Linksys/Cisco SPA (excellent quality full line and Cisco name)
Best High-end IP-phones - Polycom (All around leader, but others are catching up)
I have not had much luck with the following:
SNOM - weird SIP deployment causing dropped calls
Aastra - some strange networking issue
Grandstream - Build quality issue, but they are improving greatly.
I hope this helps.
Hi Rajasekaran,
Thanks for asking this question. Could you provide a little more information on your project? For example, it might be helpful to know what kind of phone system you're using, the number of IP phones you're looking to purchase, more specifics around the type of functionality you're looking for and your approximate price-range.
As Erik mentions, there is a wealth of knowledge available on Focus as well. Here is some links that might be helpful:

Iphone has a lot to offer, but which of this is far more best. It depends on your taste, check out the new Iphone 4 or you could check out website that rates, otherwise compare each model specification so could have the best you want.
I've found the Polycom Soundpoint phones to be the most reliable and priced well. We use them for 90% of the users on our platform.
I agree with Joel. We sell Grandstream, Aastra, Yealink, etc. But by far our most reliable phones are the Polycom SoundPoint phones. They are very reliable and just great all around phones.
Here's a great site to quickly find IP phones on Ebay: http://www.voipphonedog.com.
